Speed painting is a technique where I'm always trying to improve my ability. While I like to take my time over a picture and go into lots of detail, the time scale involved in a really complex piece is rarely available on a professional, production schedule. My speed painting work is all about trying to get as good an image as I can in as short a period as I can. Some of these took a matter of minutes and some up to three or four hours.
