2010

Wednesday March 03 - Good news! Welcome to Twister has been nominated for a Scottish New Talent Bafta. Went to the nomination ceremony last night and met a few of the other nominees. Results are in on the 19th, so I will update you all then! I've just finished work on an advert for Artemis working with Iain Gardner, and am currently still working with Daniel Gough as production designer on his Masters film.

Tuesday January 26 - It's been a while since I updated the site, so there is a fair bit of news. Work on Jamie Stones "The Pitts" effects shots is now complete after a long period of working closely with the director. I am also working on projects for oooi films, film makers Iain Gardner and Daniel Gough, and have finished the first draft of an ambitious script for a 30 min animated short. I have just uploaded my 2009 animation showreel which you can see above, or in the Animation section. Enjoy!

Monday November 23 - I have been working on various pieces of art for my personal folios and for two live action films, so have not updated the site in a while. However, I have now finished the trailer for Welcome To Twister which can be seen above and in the Welcome To Twister section. I have also added an Artwork section in the Welcome To Twister page.

Sat August 08 - Screening of "Entwined" by Reeve Rixon at the Cameo in Edinburgh, hosted by oooi productions, on which Owen was an Art Director. Before the film, an advert by oooi for Meridian productivity, on which Owen was Art Director and Digital Effects Artist, was also screened. Both were very well received.
